Caughting up

Today is Wednesday, March 3, 2021.  Shame on me for not keeping up to date.  This is Judy, Jay's wife.  That's right he goes by Jay.  Jay doesn't understand this type of website so it falls to me to keep up and I have been very slothful.  I will try to do better.  We are living in Tooele, Utah, 25 miles west of Salt Lake City.  We have a beautiful home and enjoy live as much as we can.   Jay just turned 80 in January.  Lot of water under the bridge.

The summer has gone by so quickly.  We visited Colorado Springs for a week.  Spent several days at Bear Lake for Judy's family reunion.  Now having a wonderful visit with my younger brother John from Thailand and my little sister Sally from California.  Lots of laughter and fun!

Now that we are home Jay is working on his next novel.  I am excited to see where he goes with it.  It will be really different from the last five books as no Chandra!  She had really become part of our lives.

We are also so excited to have our new web site up and running and hope that you will leave us comments when you visit.  Thanks so much to Sam Clark, an old work mate from Jay's employment.  How fun it was to run into him and have him get things up and moving for us.

RUN FOR REFUGE - Press Release

1/27/2016

Edward J. Schneider, Utah Author, pens another Time-Travel Adventure/Romance.

This novel satisfies any reader’s appetite for adventure, romance and possible time-travel changes to events in a parallel-universe Old West.

His preceding Books 1, 2, 3 and 4 (The Plunge, The Renewal, The Revealing and Defying Destiny, respectively) are available now for digital purchase through online retailers worldwide. It is suggested that you, the reader, read the first four books before “Run for Refuge” though it is able to stand alone.

Chandra Jarvis, a seemingly young woman of the year 2150, inadvertently plunges through a wormhole from San Francisco to the territory of Southwestern Wyoming of 1850. Fortunately, an implanted computer chip, futuristic smartsuit and implanted devices help her to cope with entirely different cultural norms and dangers. She loses much from her former life but also gains in ways she has never dreamed in her interactions with Old West people and values.

In this fifth book, she meets and interacts with an almost mythical Chief Joseph, one of the leaders of the Nez Perce Native Americans.

Experience the Old West through the eyes of a futuristic, beautiful, dynamic woman who makes the best of the accidental plunge into the past of a parallel-universe Old Western world.

Pick up your digital copies of the previous Parallel Past novels – The Plunge, The Renewal, The Revealing and Defying Destiny at Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and Smashword to pay a few.
